PlayStation Gaming Headsets

CORSAIR offers a great selection of gaming headsets for PS4 and PS5. Whether you're looking for a new PS4 headset or want to experience exceptional gaming audio with a PS5 headset, CORSAIR has the audio you need to play your best on the battlefield, fully compatible with PlayStation consoles.

What to look for in a PlayStation-enabled gaming headset

Take a close look at what your headset offers, and be sure it fits the bill for your Sony gaming.

  • Compatibility and connectivity: Because PS4/PS5 don’t easily support Bluetooth connectivity, be sure there’s a USB-connected wireless receiver or compatible wired connectivity.
  • Microphone quality: Do you want a detachable boom mic? How clear is the microphone’s audio?
  • Comfort: How much padding do you want and how much adjustability do you need?
  • Design: Be sure the unique look of a headset fits your aesthetic.

Do wireless headsets work with PS5?

Bluetooth connectivity is an excellent protocol for making sure your headphones connect to a variety of devices, but the PlayStation 5 doesn’t support this means of connectivity. While there are some PS5-branded headsets that will connect wirelessly right out of the box, for other wireless headsets and headphones, be sure they have a USB-connected wireless receiver or dongle to ensure they’ll work. Alternatively, you could use wired headphones by plugging a 3.5-millimeter termination into the audio jack available on a DualSense controller.
